Ken Simmons

With almost twenty years of radio and television experience, working with some of the leading private sector companies, state agencies and party promoters in Trinidad and Tobago to provide voice over work, audio production and event hosting, birth name Akhenaton Simmons but widely known as Ken "The Gentleman" Simmons is undoubtedly one of the most reputable and requested media professionals from Trinidad and Tobago.

He is presently a radio and television personality with the nation's station, vibe ct 105fm and CNC 3 Television of Guardian Media Limited. He’s also an entrepreneur, with two businesses namely, a media production company called, “2K Media and Communications” and a health, fitness and lifestyle company called “AHLIVE Ltd”. He’s also a well sought after motivational speaker, with a NGO called A Plus foundation that is dedicated in providing practical aid and assistance to those in his community and beyond with a special focus and interest among the young people. He’s an advocate for positive change and personal development for over two decades.

The level of achievement and progress Ken enjoys today didn’t come without its challenges and his life was not always a positive one. He’s a former gangster and had to overcome many obstacles and barriers by God's grace and mercy.

Over the years developing a love and passion for fitness, he has represented Trinidad and Tobago in 2013 and 2014 in the sport of bodybuilding in the men’s physique category at the Central American and Caribbean Bodybuilding and Fitness championships.

Even though he has since represented Trinidad and Tobago in the sport of bodybuilding and has made a mark and valuable contributions in people's lives as a personal trainer and health and wellness coach, his love has always been in media relations and public speaking.

Ken’s Distinct voice, charming personality, positive vibes and professionalism is what makes him a cut above the rest. His ability to adapt in almost any type of event is what he is widely known for. Whether it’s governmental functions, corporate events, big concert stages or parties, Ken is able to deliver results based on the client’s expectations.

Ken Simmons has done voice over work for some of the top companies in Trinidad and Tobago and parts of the Caribbean region. Companies like Bmobile, Cuna Caribbean Insurance, Stag beer, KFC, Digicel Trinidad and Guyana, First Caribbean Bank Limited and Unipet just to name a few. Ken’s voice has also been preferred and used for some of the biggest concerts and events in Trinidad and Tobago, like the annual Redemption Reggae Concert and Army Fete during the carnival season.
